Trauma Therapy
It is painful to live in a constant state of distress that alters our reality and ability to function throughout the day. To cope with the pain that terrorizes the body and leaves us feeling perpetually overwhelmed, we may develop self-destructive behaviors. Yet, we are inherently born with the capacity to heal ourselves—and with the right support, that healing is possible.
In my practice, I strive to offer a compassionate and safe environment to deeply explore the traumatic experiences that have left you feeling broken. Together, we will explore all parts of yourself, especially those you’ve rejected or suppressed in order to survive. Using somatic-oriented therapy, we will foster a deeper connection between mind and body and work to restore the health of the brain, nervous system, and your connection with yourself and others.
I am certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and EMDR, along with other trauma-informed modalities that help clients develop internal resources and experience their bodies as safe.
I specialize in Complex PTSD, PTSD, disordered eating, developmental and childhood trauma, sexual trauma, sex work, religious trauma, and immigration trauma. I am fluent in Spanish.
